ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Maria-Teresa URALDE GUICHARD was born on March 15, 1948 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz (France), of a French mother and Spanish father. She now lives in Spain.

She was educated in France and then lived between Spain and France up to the age of 21. The sudden death of her father in 1968 resulted in her settling on the Costa del Sol with her mother, where she later started an active life as administrator and real estate agent. In 1974 she married Italian born Giuseppe.

The author has been polyglot from a very young age and her strong interest in history of France is what leads her to share it in an interesting way with readers of different cultures and of all ages. At last in 2008, she decided to embark in the project of writing "My Little History of France" in French, Spanish, English and Italian.
